Bab 50: This is something scary

And the pain again.

Is this my punishment for everything that's going on in the world right now?

It's a pain. I couldn't feel anything else anymore.

And when I opened my eyes, I saw a face I didn't know.

I was surrounded by people. And I was lying in some room, the cold table was unpleasantly felt, and I could not stop that feeling of convulsive heat.

"Where am I?"

I tried to raise my head and what I saw surprised me a little.

A stranger, with all his might tried to pull out a bullet that was stuck in the tissues of my stomach.

"Professor Skyemoone, be patient for a little more. It's going to be fine," he said and smiled. Although he had a fright on his face. "I'm sorry, but I don't have anesthesia to make you fall asleep. But don't worry, I'm a surgeon. I used to work at the hospital. But times have changed."
