Bab 410: The Cavalry

The floor had been set, the circumstances had been studied, the consequences had been well understood. The risks and pros had been evaluated as well and even though the risks were higher than the benefits,  Hera and Zymere still chose to move on with the plan.

They knew it wouldn't end quite well, but that was a risk they were willing to take. As long as the brothers got their shit together, then there wouldn't be a problem today. Taking one last look at Hera, Zymere said a prayer to his mother, hoping for the best but still expecting the worst.

And before he could finalize it, he heard the footsteps come a little too close.

The cavalry was here and he couldn't do shit about it. There in the hallway for the dungeons, were a furious lot, royal leaders who had one thing in common, the desire to eliminate Zymere.
