Bab 391: The Undead

Everyone turned to look at Mikhail, shocked at the scene in front of them. He was alive and healthy. What in the goddess's name had Carl seen then? Carl looked at Mikhail, trying to process what the phoenix was doing here alive.

He had seen the body, he had stood over the body and even tried to break the phoenix.

Battered and bruised, Carl had tried his best to bring back his friend, but he knew he wasn't going to be able to do that, especially since his only bond to Mikhail Was through the Luna.

And that too wasn't one that he was sure of, at least not today. Whatever was happening they needed an explanation.

"You're here, how?" Carl asked, his voice fading in the background just as his eyes closed too. He was tired and had lost too much blood on his way there. Sure he would heal, but only Hera could make him heal faster.

Nishai's magic wouldn't be able to do anything.

Zari looked at her son's fall and she wasn't about to lose another child.
