Bab 43: "Philippines"
The Philippines is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. Situated in the western Pacific Ocean, it consists of about 7,641 islands that are broadly categorized under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Metro Manila where NAIA is found, it's the main international gateway for travelers to the Philippines.
Walking to the receiving area with the entourage of servants of my family while leading the way was my father and mother who are looking for something when we saw many Filipinos with different placards of names of the person they are waiting for.
Ezy saw his mother's expression change to beaming happiness and ran to a group of Filipinos with a big banner while a big name of Amor and Adam was written in paint on it.
Ezy saw many familiar faces while he saw his mother hugged tightly a female person who has a resemblance to his mother and both started crying and whispering to each other.
After crying his mother hugged and kisses each other's cheeks of the relatives that came to receive us.
Adam hugged a man tightly talking loudly to each other praising each other strength and body parts emphasizing each good development of their workout.
"Muscle brows!!"Ezy thought.
While Adam shakes hands with all the people present making them in awh to his tall and big figure of body and looks at Amor simultaneously making her blush and shy.
Ezy's mother gestured for Natalia to come near while introducing him happily to his relatives. Ezy was passed to each other's arms giving him hugs and kisses making him sticky on the cheeks and lips.
After all of the welcoming, my parents also introduced the servants while they bow to my relatives but my relatives told them not to do this in the future to avoid awkwardness in their province.
They nodded while smiling at each other while talking to them with broken English making their way to the parking lot boisterous and merry.
The people in the airport were looking at their group that is mixed with British person while admired the persons while natural blonde hair making it be more noticeable in this crowd of people filled with black hair.
"Damn it! I missed this sticky feeling from the hot weather while it's humid here... eheheh" Ezy teased Natalia's sweaty skin and played with her sweat making her annoyed and embarrassed.
Ezy saw Two Florida Liner bus, 3 black Toyota Hiace 1999 and one red Ford Ranger, seeing this line up of vehicles, Ezy remembered that his mother's family's business is focused on farming rice while also had some business connected to animals and etc. making him plan for this business to achieve it maximum success to each area.
There are 15 servants, 5 males and the other is all females while also mixed with their families who came with them excited to their new home. They choose their traveling chairs in the two after they put all their thing under the storage of the two buses while also put the things of their master in a large truck.
Ezy's families have their own vehicles while Ezy, Natalia, Amor, and his Tita Coring occupied one Toyota Hiace 1999.
( Tita (masculine Tito) meaning aunt)
Ezy's father was sad being kicked out of the van and was drag by Tito Fernando on his red Ford Ranger to continue their men talk making his father's sad expression disappear.
Tita Coring is the elder sister of his mother who is still single until this day while Tito Fernando had a wife with two sons and one daughter waiting at home.
Thinking about the long journey and seeing his mother had many stories and gossips to chat with his Tita Coring.
Ezy gestured to his mother that he was hungry and happily gave him to Natalia at her back.
Ezy saw two big Bayong on the back, filled with many different foods while he saw a while ago that many of this was given to the servants to have their own food on their long road trip.
(Bayong refers to bags originating from the Philippines made by weaving dried leaves.)
Her mother continued to talk to his Tita Coring while he dozed off while having his milkshake.
Their next destination is Aparri Cagayan, 12 to 14 hours of traveling.
Aparri sits at the mouth of the Cagayan River, the longest river in the Philippines, about 55 miles north of Tuguegarao, the provincial capital and is located at the northern tip of Luzon.
3 years later...
Ezy is now 3 years old, with Golden yellow short hair while his skin is tan from the sun hiding his white complexion but making his half British and half Asian Filipino face more suitable for him.
He was running on the narrow house path made by the small houses to have a small road for one person to walk into it.
Ezy was followed by five children at his same age who is focused on his every move making Ezy not able to shake them and hide.
Ezy was about to pass a bush making the narrow path to becoming two but a child jump out of the bush throwing a right punch at him.
Ezy discovered this girl already and was ready to fight back seeing the punch coming straight to his face.
Ezy dodges it by tilting his head on the right side of the girl while lowering his body by swatting his left foot making him slide on the dirt and attack her using his right hand.
Ezy smiled devilishly at the girl after he dodged her attack making her prepare to guard her left side.
Seeing his faint left bait attack successfully got her attention "Finger gun!!" Ezy shouted while poking the girl's stomach two times.
"Ouch! Ouch!" The girl exclaimed irritated about the pain and felt a soft smack on her head while hearing something.
Ezy pushes his body up using his squatted leg up while turning his whole body on the process and give the girl smack at the back of her head."You dead!" Ezy exclaimed while he continues his running to the left narrow path.
Ezy was smiling proudly thinking how good he is but discovered that 6 children were waiting for him while the 5 children who are following him catch up and started to surround him.
Not even fazed by them, Ezy turned his back on the 6 children shocking them, and dashed to the 5 children on his back giving each 2 "Finger gun" in the stomach of the two children while passing between them and giving them each a soft smack on the back of their head"two of you are dead" Ezy exclaimed.
Using his arms he shielded his head from the three reaming children on the back while giving them each a soft smack at the back of their head eliminating them.
Ezy first eliminates them first know their exhausted from running while readying himself to face the 6 children who were waiting awhile ago filled with energy.
After a long fight and dodging, Ezy was exhausted and now laying on the dirt with the children he defeated and also catching their breath.
"Ezy! Damn it! We all lose to you again!" One child said.
"Yeah! I only land my punch on your arms and palm not scoring a point..."
"Hahahahah! Because I am stronger than all of you! Ahhahaha" Ezy shouted while receiving flying slippers from them.
"Damn it!! Don't throw your slipper with shit!" Ezy roared with irritation smelling one slipper missed and land near his face.
Everyone out laughs loudly while one was embarrassed seeing it was his slipper with shit.
"Ezy... I'm hungry.... let's go..." One fat child said while being shy.
"Boboy! You didn't play seriously awhile ago and just receive my attack. You only think the food waiting at My house!" Ezy jokingly said making boboy embarrassed.
Like an alarm activated, everyone's stomach growl making the silence broken while everyone starts to laugh and slowly stands up after recovering their energy.
Ezy stands up proudly while tapping the dirt on his clothes off making the other children copy him.
"Charge to my house!!! The last one is a pig!! Ahhhhhh" Ezy shouted while running first while the other children followed him happily and also shouted.
"Aghhhhh"
"Ahhhhhhh"
"Ahhhh"
"Come on guy.... let's just walk...." boboy exclaimed seeing he was the last person in the group.
"Kuya Adam and Ate Amor's son is energetic as every. Eheheh" A person exclaimed while watching them disappear from the distance and continued getting her dried laundry.
"Yeah... when they arrived here I thought that they will be arrogant to their neighbors because of their money and foreigner mix race and servants but they always kind to what they have and sponsored fiestas and many events using their money." One man said while helping his wife bring the laundry inside the house.
"Also when their son started to go out of their mansion, no servant was following while he interacted with the children kindly"
"Yeah, his games are just disturbing hearing dead and kill words but nothing bad has happened while his playmate has scars and bruises from playing... but now they don't come home with new wounds making their parents relax. Ahahahah"
"Yeah, I heard them calling him leader.... ahahahhahahahahah. So cute, we have a small-time gang leader in our barangay." The husband laughs loudly.
"Well, this lively afternoon will end today..." The wife interrupted her husband's laughing.
"What? Why?"
" because starting tomorrow, he will attend kindergarten..."
"Really.... but he's still young right?"
"Yeah, but he's really a bright one even passing the grade-schooler but he told the school that he wants to be with children near his age.... I also heard that he was teaching his playmates mathematics and English while the fat one called boboy was the one excel from them more one mathematics and saying he wants to be an accountant of money to get cash from his accounting and buy many foods... hahaha"
"Really... what a pity our baby was late to be at the generation of Ezy to be influenced by him..." The husband caressed lovingly his pregnant wife's belly.
"Well, Ezy will be here like always so maybe our baby can still attract his attention..." The pregnant woman smiled lovingly at her husband.
"I'm home!!!" Ezy shouted entering the gate of his mansion while followed by his friends.
Amor went out hearing her son's shout and wrinkled her eyebrows seeing the children dirty while smelling them making her nose twitch from their sweat and sun playing smell.
"Dirty children will not eat... clean your selves!" Amor gestured them to come in to clean themselves.
"Charge to the bathroom!!!" Ezy shouted while kicking away his dirty slippers away and run inside.
While the other children place respectfully their dirty slippers on one side and one by one held Amor's hand while touching her hand on their forehead(Mano).
Each child said."good afternoon Tita." After doing Mano to her while Amor smiled at them kindly.
They didn't run but walk fast following Ezy in the bathroom like they always do and already familiar inside the mansion.
Amor saw her son was gone already, forgetting to greet her but understands that her son was very excited for tomorrow.
"Sebastian... ask someone to clean the slippers of the children," Amor said.
"I'll do it, madam," Sebastian replied.
