Bab 85: 085 Nightmare

A tangled web of distorted ebony and stained violet shadows was infiltrating the hidden underground of the resistance. Weaving through corners and dancing shadows, they took advantage of the poorly lit area to traverse through the maze of winding tunnels searching desperately. Time draining endlessly in a slowed motion until they found their target.

Asleep and alone in a room was Em.

In the same manner that they had been moving in, they continued forth towards their target until they affixed themselves to the dark of his shadow. 

Unbeknownst to anyone, they laid claim to him and slowly began doing their worst by entering his resting conscious and sifting through his mind.

Combing through millions of memories they sought a particular time period. Under orders of their master, they continued to look until the desired information was found and relayed back.
