Bab 76: 076 Unfinished

[Greatest Glory] 

A dazzling brilliance of flashing light blinded any and everyone who laid eyes on his attack. 

I fought against the natural inclination to cover my eyes and protect my sight during this attack. Instead I peered with even more determination and drive into the upcoming assault. 

The dense sphere of destruction that had accumulated what I call a faux aura, released its fury. 

I say it's faux aura because it resembled the majesty of burning life yet it seemed artificial in the way the ethereal power moved and danced about. 

The surrounding crowd had covered their eyes and amongst the ruckus I even heard Ventus cry out.

"Em!"

I was touched at the sentiment of her concern but my main focus the laser beam which was moving unnaturally fast at my being.

Matching it's speed I brought Death's favor before me to block the attack. I held it strong, true, and steadfast but even still the force was overwhelming.
