Bab 41: Chapter 57 Infertility

While eating the cold noodles, Gu Chuyan felt a brush of her hair against her forehead. She saw Xiao Mohan looking at the bandage on her head, "Don't drink alcohol while you have a head injury."

What a peculiar lady!

"I'll just have a little bit." Maybe she was too happy. But she didn't really know why she was so cheerful.

After finishing a whole bottle of beer, her face beet red, she picked up some cold noodles and said, "Xiao Mohan, this is really tasty."

The man stared at her bowl. Reaching out, he touched her wrist and gently moved her chopsticks closer. He lowered his head and elegantly placed the cold noodles into his mouth and began to chew slowly as if savouring a delicious meal.

Gu Chuyan froze in place. Was he eating her leftovers?

"Hmm, the taste is indeed good," he remarked.

"Of course, next time, let's come together, is that alright?" Gu Chuyan responded.

She felt so lonely. She really yearned for someone to share meals and conversations with her!
