Bab 84: To the Imperial Court

"What is it?" Gu Chaoyan asked casually.

She had never been allowed to step into the front yard, but now she was asked to go there every time. They must be in need of something.

Gu Chaoyan nodded and walked towards the front yard.

Just like before, she asked Qing to go back to the Qiong Pavilion when she came to the front yard.

It was quite a bustling scene in the front yard.

Many maids were waiting outside the hall.

They were busy chatting when they suddenly quieted down as Gu Chaoyan came in. She threw a look at everyone around, only to find Madame Gu wearing a nice smile whilst no one else was showing a terrible expression. Especially Mrs. Gu and Gu Ruxue who had given her such a heavy glare.
