Cai Zhu's worried face was brightened up, when she assumed that Madame Gu asked her first to get her justice done. She threw a provocative look at Gu Chaoyan just to see if Lady Chaoyan was panicking.

Cai Zhu had decided that if this ugly woman begged her, she might forgive her. So she did not answer the question directly, instead she waited for a little while longer.

During this interval, Gu Chaoyan did not even spare a look at her.

That displeased Cai Zhu so she said furiously, "Madame Gu, you have to help me! I am your eldest maid and my duty was to ask Miss to come here. But she slapped me right on the face."

Madame Gu looked at Gu Chaoyan, wondering if she had got so arrogant just because of her relationship with the Wang Family.
