Someone from the Jin Tiangui Sect, but not the heir, Jin Shiyan, was imprisoned among them.

It was one of the Jin Sect Master's illegitimate offspring with the given name Jin Baihua and the courtesy name of  Jin Huayu. The Xie Clan did not want to annihilate the Jin Tiangui Sect as they did the Bai Lengshui Sect when they attacked them. They never intended to capture the Sect's heir because they knew he had been seriously injured during their assault; instead, they just frightened them. They eventually decided to use Jin Baihua as his replacement out of fear that the heir to the Jin Tiangui Sect would die if they kept him in his current condition.
