Skylar's POV

"As for the introductions." Jesse spoke up. "I'm Jesse. This creep is Adrian. This nerd is Seth." He continued before pointing over at Shane who was already glaring at him. "And that's... Shane."

I couldn't hide the disbelief from my voice. "For real? You guys are a real gang?"

Caden passed me an eye roll. "Isn't that what I just said?"

I ignored his offensive tone and looked back at the others with slight disbelief. "It's just surprising."

I was highly aware of how much sketchy and mysterious our town could be, but I hadn't exactly expected to find myself in between a gang. A real gang.

"And you, gorgeous, are the first ever person to know about it." Adrian said with a smile.

I furrowed my brows at that, because that was when the questions came. A lot of them.

"Why-" I was cut off just as quick when my phone started ringing loudly. Taking it out from my pocket, I realized that all eyes were watching me.

"Hello?" I answered.
