Bab 146: Finding Keys

David lets go of the spoon first and stands upon the ringing of his phone. Gabrielle watches him as he moves past her and outside of his office room to attend to the incoming call on his phone. 

David shuts the door behind him and stands outside the balcony to his small office. "Hello?" David speaks into the phone after picking it up. 

"David..." The person on the other end utters in a weak voice. David wasn't able to recognize the voice of the person who called him, yet he somehow could recall this voice. 

"I am sorry who is this?" 

"It is... Maximilian." David's burrows furrowed at the mention of that name. "I am calling you to-" 

David hung up his phone and pulls his phone down from his ear. He didn't want to hear anyone's voice from that home again. Those people were poison to his life and it was best to remain far away from them.
