Bab 10: 9

I wake up to banging on the toilet door. 'Ari! Are you in there?' Ezra's worried voice rings throughout the bathroom. I rub my head, which seriously hurts, and quietly sit on the toilet. I can't take it to see Ezra right now. I hear a sigh on the other side of the door.

'Ari, please answer,' another voice sounds. It's my dad's. Good to know I'm not alone with Ezra; and my dad is someone I trust.

I open the door silently, but regret it the moment I see a furious Ezra stand in the corner.

'Geez, you look absolutely terrible! What in the world happened to you? You look as tired as you did last week, maybe even worse!' At least my dad looks worried.

'What happened?' Ezra asks.

'I wasn't feeling so well and I went here to sit in silence. I must've fallen asleep.' I smile as innocently and real as I possibly can. Both my dad and Ezra know me well, though. Well enough to see through fake smiles.
