Bab 63: Why today

I sat quietly waiting for Carl. I looked at my watch again he should have been here like twenty-five minutes ago. I looked around the room and thought about our first date, was he really into me or what did he want to talk about.

Our reservation was made in a private room. It was not like the garden where I could busy myself with the beautiful site of nature. I took a sip of the drink I order. There was a television set in the room, I reach out for the remote and switch to another music channel.

I wonder why he will call me and sent the address, if he was not going to show up. He said he was on his way and now he is nowhere to be found. If I don't see Carl in the next five minutes I will just leave. Maybe something came up I assured myself. But he should at least call to inform me.
