The realization was disappointing. 

But rare didn't mean never, she thought. After all, everyone in all the realms knew about the helio and his bride—Prince Destrian's parents. They were the opposite of each other in every way. A demoness and a god. They were forced to marry but fell so deeply in love that there were many fairy tales spun out of their love story. 

However, most arranged marriages didn't turn out that way. Most of the time the couple merely tolerated each other and learned to coexist. She wondered if that would be Destrian's fate too.
