"Wouldn't I?" He held the sword against her neck, freaking her to the core. "What would stop me, mother? The fact that you are my mother?" He scoffed sarcastically. The word sounded like a joke. Apart from giving birth to him, what did she ever do to deserve being called that? 

His hand trembled when he remembered everything she had done since casting him into the human realm. "The fact that my whole life was a joke to you? Your brother?" 

She was horrified looking into his eyes. She had seen him lose his temper when it was about other deities and it made her shudder, but seeing his anger directed at her, it as as if she ould see her own death flashing before her eyes. She still tried to bluff her way out. "If you killed me, you would become mortal."
