He opened the car door and walked towards the building.

"How are the two people who were brought in from the car accident doing?" Shen Shihan asked the nurse at the front desk.

"Oh, you mean the van accident on the highway? They're both in surgery now. The driver's injuries aren't serious, but the young girl's condition is more critical," the nurse replied.

"Is there a life-threatening situation?"

"That... it's hard to say," the nurse responded with some difficulty.

Before Shen Shihan could speak again, the nurse looked at him, "Are you a family member of the victims? We've been trying to contact their relatives, but we haven't been able to reach anyone yet."
