Bab 120: Reunion

The feast was subtle, contrary to the reception and decor prepared by the Arcana family, but Morana wasn't complaining. She was surrounded by smart people who knew how to behave themselves in certain situations. 

  During the feast, Morana leaves the hall to get some air and walks around in the gardens of the Arcana family. Ioannes, who sees her leave the feast, decides to follow her and catches up near a sitting area.

"You seem to be doing quite well, Ioannes. It's been seven years, you look good, Different, but good."

He is not surprised that she knew he was following. The corners of his mouth raised a bit as he sat next to her on the bench.

"As you said, it's been seven years. Moreover, if anyone's changed, it's you. They call you a wandering Immortal demon now." 

The duo looked at each other and chuckled for a minute or two, but silence took over once again until Ioannes spoke up in a hushed, barely audible voice.

"I'm sorry."
