Bab 267: Useless pride

Except for Lore, there weren't any threatening opponents left in the arena and Jason hoped that the last fight he had to attend would turn out to give him pure adrenaline rush.

His fight against York had already been slightly intense and beneficial, but there was no need for him to use all affinities, whether it was one after another, at once or even overlapping, like the blazing icicles he began to experiment with months ago.

After defeating York, his other opponents grew scared of him, which led them to fight half-heartedly, allowing Jason to save his strength and efforts, even though it caused him to feel disappointed in his opponent's willpower.

He had already entered the top 400 and it was not even necessary for Jason or Lore to fight against each other, but Lore's fighting spirit was almost impossible to overlook as he glared daggers at Jason every once in a while.
