Su Bai slung the backpack over his shoulder and walked ahead. He decided to walk on snow rather than ride the cub on the way back.

"Howl!" Are you angry?

The cub rubbed his head with its own.

Having evolved into the Sanctuary Wood Spirit, it was taller than him and could touch his head with its head.

"No, I just wanna play in the snow."

He shook his head and pinched a ball of snow with his hand.

"Howl!" So what are we eating for breakfast?

Purple Jade glanced at him in inquiry.

"I want to eat fish, so let's catch one later," replied Su Bai, looking at the pale green lake.

"Howl!" Then I will catch one for you. Do you want a carp or a grass carp?

The cub stuck out its pink tongue and licked its owner's face lovingly.

"I want to eat carp."

Su Bai ruffled the cub's head, feeling as if it were rearing him instead of the other way around.
