Bab 3: Chapter -03

"Keira, who is the girl with you? Haven't seen her before. She's not your baby,is she?" one of the guests asked to aunt keira. My mom was there too.

Aunt Keira replied, "well,It's a long story. I am not sure if I can describe well.. Uhh", Aunt keira paused for a moment.

"Heili is my friend's daughter. Her mother & I both graduated from a same college. We shared an apartment & She was very close to me. She fell in love with a guy who was from another nearby college also worked in a departmental store. The guy was an orphan. I don't know how they met,how they fell for each other. I wasn't happy with their relationship that time. I thought she's ruining her future.

One day, She decided to introduce him with me. We met. My idea about him got changed. He was a good guy. After 3 years of their marriage, they had Heili.

Heili has been very sweet,calm since her childhood. She used to call me 'Ant kera'. She barely could pronounce my name..hahaha.. When she was 9, they moved another city with her. I really missed them, I couldn't meet them since they left, we talked over phone & the frequency of communication got lesser as time passed.

I missed Heili's childhood.

A month ago,I got to know Heili's parents died in a car accident. They died about a year ago actually. LIFE!" keira sighed.

"That girl Heili didn't even call me or inform me about the incident. She stayed in an orphanage for a whole year. When I asked Heili, why she didn't tell me. That stupid girl replied She didn't want to be a burden on me. She is little but talk like an adult! I tell you", Keira laughed with tears.

"I got her from the orphanage as soon as I was informed where she was. Since then she's with me.I can't deny her,can't let her stay at orphanage. Heard she used to have bad dreams,suffered from anxiety for months. Heili is very sensitive & very sensible. This modest girl can't survive alone", Keira stopped.

Good to mention, aunt Keira is forever single. She didn't get married. She says she didn't find anyone called to be her husband, she prefers to be unmarried. When she starts to talk,we always laugh. She's fun.

She's independent & confident. More importantly she's way more kind.

Mom almost cried listening to her.

"Ahhh,is she okay with you?still suffering with memories? " Mom mentioned Heili.

"Naah, She's fine, a way better. She's very shy & introvert. Hard to tell though. I am trying my best ", Aunt replied.

The party got a little sad as you know hearing a sad story.

Heili was in my mom's room for the whole time. She didn't come out or say anything. The whole scenario was difficult to me. For the moment I felt bad for her. Maybe she's suffering now inside or I don't know.

It was farewell time. Everyone thanked us & was leaving. Mom went to her room to get Heili. She was sleeping. The moment mom touched on her hand. She just woke up like she saw a ghost or something bad happened. She got terrified with her eyes out.

"Heili, shall we go now, dear?" -Aunt keira got emotional again.

Thank you again, keep going with me (I'm chuckling).
