Bab 30: Chapter 30: Swan Lake

“Dude... Are you okay?”

Kai opened his eyes. He was lying on the floor, the head rested on the bottom of a tree. Birch was standing next to him.

“Birch…? Where is this? What happened?”

The environment looked similar to the overgrown area they were in, except the grass was far shallower. But the greenery was still full of colored flowers on a smaller scale. The tree he was leaning on was one of the rare ones on the place.

“I moved you nearby. Dude, you are so heavy… I can’t bring you all the way to the building. I just moved you where I thought was safe and tried to wake you up. Guess you finally did.”

Kai was feeling some pain on the back of his head, but he could still move fine. He stood up.

“Thanks, Birch… Huh… Where are the others?”

“We need to get going, man… Dawson is trying to help Anua with the other dude. She ran like crazy and the thing went after her, and Dawson went after… It’s a real mess.”

“Where did they go?”

“Huh…”
