"I wasn't the best mother, but I'm happy Criselda was. I should thank her for granting my wish when I go back to the afterlife soon," Zuhair said softly.

"Yeah right. To be loved by everyone who could except for the life I actually wanted, the love of a mom, but why don't we keep pretending like the world did you so many injustices you couldn't care for your children, right? 

"Or did you hate us because we were born of magic, the one thing you hadn't really wanted? I mean I wouldn't blame you if you confirm it because there have been so many things running in my mind from the very beginning.

"— So we can simply tone it down to the madness in my head, right? Besides it can't be that bad, yeah?" Alanor said in the same soft tone as Zuhair. They looked like they were having a normal conversation even though the tension was still obvious between them. 

Maybe it would be gone when they decided to face their truths, right?
