"No, no… don't do it, son, you'll break your heart even more," Zuhair said to Unar who was following Alanor into the palace. She know he was desperate to get Alanor's attention, but he would just get frustrated even more, if he didn't get what he was looking for. 

He was in a tight spot and one of the spots that he had never imagined he would ever be in, and the only way out of the current state was for him to accept his current truth. 

Maybe he didn't need to move on for it, but accepting that la bro wasn't going to be able to notice him, his presence, or even what was happening around Unar was something that could prove useful to the young king. 

Otherwise, he would get more frustrated and work up and nothing would make him feel any better. It would eat him up for longer than possible.
