Bab 379: I'll Always be Beside You, Always

Walking through the hallways, Alanor was fighting a silent battle with his memories of his sister. He missed Ilya so much and he was terrified of whatever memories would be unlocked once he stepped in there. 

He had always been brave, but a few moments ago, Alanor had just realized that maybe he was truly a coward who had no business fighting on but maybe he was doing okay, yeah? Oh, but he was scared, worried and sick of feeling helpless.

He wanted to pretend like he was fine, and he was doing a good job at it, but the thought of Ilya being burned and him not even being able to go to the funeral because of his humanity was something Alanor was never going to forgive himself for.
