Bab 366: A Step Into The New Normal

For the rest of the day, Alanor and Unar walked around Udrad, almost like they were getting familiar with the palace. Unar was aware that Alanor was doing this for him and because his mate didn't want the lycans rebelling against him. 

He wanted to be happy about that, he wanted to enjoy the company, but a part of Unar was also aware that everything Alanor touched, would always explode, be it from too much love or too much hate. 

The ending was certain. 

There were a lot of things that the two of them had not yet resolved and while Unar was tempted to play through like everything was fine with his mate, he wasn't sure how long he could pretend and hold back. 

Each time he looked at his mate, he could see Ilya's body that was slowly giving up, he could see the death of his lycans on the very grounds that had walked today, he could see the pain that Alanor had cued the lycans.
