"If this doesn't work out well, tell our son that I loved him even when I didn't know him," Nymeriah said to the hurting lycan king, who was staring at her like she didn't need to be so dramatic as if the world was ending.

Maybe she really didn't need to, but then they were up against the young Wynter. 

Nymeriah looked at her sister dozing off, the vampire and hound silently sleeping, and the young Wynter who was turning in his sleep. She could see smiles on his face, which was a little weird, considering nothing that had happened so far was worth a smile.

By Nymeriah's knowledge, only Unar and the chaotic trio would make the young Wynter smile, but then the young prince was in Udrad, trying to fix whatever was left of their home.

"Goodness woman, get on with it, alright?" Edison said, and Nymeriah took one last look at the team she had fought beside. The team she had been loyal to for the past week.
