"You weren't right. Running away isn't the solution," Zelina struggled to speak up, making Alanor turn so fast to her. 

He hated that she had almost died, and the fact that he was the reason Ulrike had to watch the love of his life almost die. It wasn't the most ideal thing and honestly, the young Wynter was already regretting it, but what else could he do?

"What else could I do? Did you guys forget that you are the leaders of three of the most powerful factions in the midlands? Think of what that would do for your people. Going against Edison isn't a walk in the park.
