"You had a responsibility to let me know that the warlock had disappeared, but you took your sweet time with the information. If you fucking told me about the warlock, even three weeks later, Unar—" Edison began but his son interrupted him, making the king sigh defeatedly. 

He knew he was raising someone like him and while he had promised Ilya that he would give their son time, there was just no time, especially now that the warlock had disappeared. They were about to hit a wall and that wasn't even advisable at this point in time.

"I eventually told you that she was missing though, didn't I? Can I say the same for you, father? For so many months you refuse to tell me anything about the kingdom, or even the reason you had Al's parents killed. I know they were not thieves. I know because I fucking  investigated.
