Staring at the high priest who was hanging in the air, Alanor thought of the things that he and Heide would have been doing if this hadn't happened.
Granted, they would most definitely be fighting for their life against Criselda or even trying to hide and failing, but then they would be a family. They wouldn't be worrying about the life they had to live now that the world seems to want to crash on them.
Alanor felt hopeless and he figured since he needed some company, he could tap into Heide's subconscious.
They could keep each other company, considering the night was getting lonelier, now that even the animals had made a run from the beast, thanks to the endless spells he had cast in the forest.
