"We do not know, please come with us," the lead warrior said and Alanor just scoffed at their statement. It was rare to see Edison's goons dressed up as royal warriors pretending to know the term 'please'.

It was like a sick joke, well crafted by Edison Stitt, but whatever it was, Alanor wasn't interested in it one bit. He just wanted to get some sleep, because he had a long way to travel tomorrow, and thanks to his madness, he had refused to trigger his beast.

Alanor knew that if he did, then there would be so much chaos and frankly, he didn't want to engage with Edison and his people, at least not tonight of all the nights. Not when they all seemed so happy in a twisted way.

Alanor also didn't want to leave a terrible impression on his mate, even though he had been doing that a little too often when he was in Udrad. he may not have bene ready to accept Unar and the mate bond, but Alanor knew he couldn't reject Unar.

He was the young Wynter's most prized 'possession'.
