Bab 50: Chapter forty nine

While they walked along the steeped path, Bande could feel Mr. Prickfor's scorching gaze on him, causing his body to feel as if itchy. He was horribly uncomfortable and wish the man would stop.

Once in a while, he will look back to see if something else has caught his attention but he still met the blazing eyes of Mr. Pickford eyeballing his back.

Cause of his lack of attention he went aware of the falling branch in his way which caused him to stumble tumbling to the hard ground.

" Are you alright? " he heard Grace cry out, her voice filled with worry as she ran to his side.

Bandile felt embarrassed but he rose from the ground with as much dignity as he could mutter.

When he was on his feet he looked to his best friend to see her trying not to laugh. He rolled his eyes at her, " not funny, " he grumbled in a sore tone stalking off ahead.
