Chapter 14 Reveal, Progress and a Letter
Piper reacted exactly how I predicted which is at first denial at 'something so absurd', her words not mine, anger at the prank she thought we're trying to pull, contemplating silence, reliazation and acceptance.
Gotta say she took it better than Percy did. Well I'm not being fair at Percy here, he was like 4 and stupid and Piper is 9 and is a bit smarter than some 9 year olds, which thinking about it now is a ver big difference.
After Piper's acceptance we started telling stories of our adventures and encounters with monsters(Percy bragging) and how we always train when she's not around. We also told her about Annabeth and Luke(we avoided Thalia cause she still a sore topic for Percy and Katie and maybe for me aswell) and Camp how its a safe haven for demigods like us.
On our way home Piper asked about how we found out about our godly parents.
"Well I found out about my mom caused Ash figured it out for me after I was attacked by a hellhound." Katie said.
"Wait what hellho-" Piper tried to ask but I cut her off.
"Well it was quite easy to figure out if you're as smart as me." I said smugly.
They all groaned.
They still hated the fact that out of all four of us I have the highest grades even though I dont study. Well I'm pretty sure Annabeth can score higher than me but I wont tell them that.
Percy scowled at Katie and Piper.
" Well atleast he didn't try to drown you." Percy said.
I smiled at that.
Piper and Katie looked at me questioningly.
"You dont need to know."I said wagging my index finger at them.
They nodde and continued to walk back home.
-A Week After, Saturday-
" Come on Piper, dodge faster! " I yelled at Piper as she dodge a swipe from one my my shadow hellhounds.
She scowled at me and made a slicing neck motion at me which distracted her long enough for the hellhound to weakly tackle her from behind.
"Dont get distracted now!" I yelled at her while laughing. 'Darn am I becoming a sadist?' I thought to myself.
Percy just shooked his head at me and continued his own training making different ice figures to better control his ice powers.
Katie shot Piper a pitying look and continued to do her own training which is growing different plants and have them attack the punchin- shadows I lent for her to train with.
I turned back to Piper who was on the ground breathing heavily.
"Why *pant* do I have *pant* to do this?" Piper asked me panting.
"Because now that you know that you're a demigod your demigod scent got stronger which in turn attracts more monster." I told her in a lecturing tone.
"Cant you guys just protect me like you've always been doing? Just my curiosity. " She said as she regained her breath.
I shook my head.
"We cant protect you forever and I doubt you would want that." She nodded at that. "Thats one of the reasons we told you that you're a demigod, so that we can train you and not be ignorant of the supernatural world." I said.
I grinned at her as I threw my dagger Punish infront of her. I pointed at the hellhound from before.
"Now get back to training!" I yelled at her while giving said hellhound a apologetic look.
The hellhound just barked happily in my direction and didn't saw how Piper was getting near it with a smile holding out my dagger.
'Is this animal abuse? Nahhh' I thought.
A few hours later I noticed the sky gaining a reddish orange look. I looked at my watch and saw that its way past curfew.
'Were screwed.' I thought.
I told them the time and they all paled.
Thankfully we were all uninjured from training, just a bit tired but in Piper's case is dead tired so we did not need to cover up some wounds.
We all huddled up together as I prepared to shadow travel home.
Percy can mist travel but we were all in a panic.
When we shadow travel inside of my house we heard blaring sirens and saw 5 police officers in the living room. Our parents were also there . All off them were looking at us with shock except for my mom who was shaking her head with a wry smile.
I smiled back at her.
Percy, Katie, and Piper gave a wry smile at their parents.
They did not smile back.

While Percy and the others were explaining everything to their parents I was busy using the mist on the police officers. Thankfully none of them were clear sighted so thats a plus. I sent them back and gave them fake memories of making it look like a fake emergency.
When I turned back to the others Sally was hugging Percy while crying and Percy hugging her back. Katie and Mr. Gardner were also hugging but Katie was smiling so that's a good sign. Piper and Tristan on the other hand is a bit different. Tristan was wide eye the entire time Piper was explaining to him about greek mythology.
I stood next to my mom.
"So the three of them were demigods?" My mom asked with a steady voice.
"Yes." I said gaining a bad feeling. So just to be safe I activated future sight. At what I saw I couldn't help but sigh.
"And you never thought to tell me?" My mom asked deadly calm.
I knew there's no escape so I just answered.
"Um suprise?" I said with a wry grin.
"You're grounded for a month." She said with a tone of finality.
I just sighed.
"Yes ma'am."
-Two years later, 11 years old-
Its been two years since that incident, when I was grounded for the first time, yeah for the first time, not only.
A lot of things happened since then. Mom and Tristan got together only with my blessing. I cornered Tristan and had a man to man talk or man to boy talk. I threatened him eternity at the Fields of Punishment if he screwed up at which he gave a shaky nod. After a long time of consideration where to live we decided that Tristan and Piper live with us now of course unknown to the public and Tristan's fans.
Speaking of Fields of Punishment guess who in their now? Yep! Its Gabe!
It had nothing to do with me. Maybe.
It was when Albedo and the others had their now rare visits and I complained to them how Gabe was a very horrible person and he deserves to be in the Fields of Punishment. Next day he was caught in an 'accident' and died. Yup nothing to do with me.
But since then Percy's life have been better. Unfortunately without Gabe more monsters seemed to be attracted to Percy but he says its worth it if him and Sally doesn't have to live with Gabe anymore.
I also introduce Percy and the other demigods to the Kindly Ones. I told them that they were my babysitters and my main source of information about the supernatural. Once they got over the torturers of Hades thing they suprisingly got along well.
Now for my progress I can now turn myself into a shadow for 8 hours before reaching my limit and turning back to normal. I learned a new move and I called it Shadow exchange . Basically its where me and any of my chosen shadow soldier exchange places anywhere no matter how far, the only downside is that it has a cooldown of 2 hours per use. My shadow claws improved and now I can make it 3 times its original size making it have greater damage. Another move I improved was Shadows roar, not only can spam it continuously for hours due to my enormous mana pool, its damage increased greatly or in Percy's word 'Its hurts way much more than it did 2 years ago.
My mana capacity has gone up 3 times and is enough to heal all my shadow atleast 10 times all at the same time . My mana regeneration increased greatly, now I can recover my entire mana pool in 3 hours. My proficiency with my daggers, Punish and Judge, has greatly increase but has hit a wall, from what Albedo told me 'training can get you far but experience is still a better way to get stronger'.
I can now use shadow travel in a farther range, last time I can shadow travel between cities now I can shadow travel countries . But I have to barely do it in favor of using Daze who mastered shadow traveling and somehow better than me at shadow travelling. My Future Sight has improved, before it was 10-15 seconds now it was 11-16 seconds. My shadow limit has now increased, my current shadow limit now was 100 shadows. All in all I have exactly 90 shadows having gained more shadows. 16 Empousa,23 Hellhounds, 14 Cyclops, 1 9 headed Hydra, 7 eagles, 15 wolves, 4 bears and 9 horses along with Daze. Sparing a few slots incase I found a great shadow candidate.
I now really regret not training with my gem powers. Since I learned how to infuse mana into the gems and turn it similar to a grenade. The better the gem and more mana the stronger the explosion. (Gandr)
Manda has evolved and turned into 40 feet in length and 8 feet in width while gaining two more horns growing backwards and having stronger venom that can kill a bear within a minute.His favourite thing to do now is to spam his fire breath because he doesn't run out of gas with my mana reserves supplying him. He also started to grow a jet black mane and two bat like wings. I can now say for sure that Manda is going to be a dragon. Eastern Dragon with wings that is.
Daze also evolved and became a faster and tougher than before, he can easily run for 130 km/h. A few other shadows of mine evolved aswell the hellhounds now gaining more size and strength along with more teeth. The Cyclops became a few feet taller and gained a few horns. While Empousa gained a few more fangs and longer claws. The wolves having sharper fangs and claws. While the bears became bigger and heavier and the eagles became faster. I pretty sure they can now take on their original selves and win.
My shadow possession became stronger. Back then I can only restrain 9 people at best. Now I can easily restrain 13 people and 14 if I tried my best.
Percy and Katie also became a lot stronger and made a lot of progress.
Percy training harder than before, was able to was able to become proficient with his mist travel and could now perform it back to back for 13 or 14 times. His water manipulation has greatly increased aswell he can now create mini tsunamis and water tornadoes. His sword skill like me have reached a wall which caused him great annoyance .
He could now also turn himself into intangible water for 7 hours before reaching his limits. He can now summon a mediocre rain to make him stronger during battle which helps him a lot. His ice powers has also greatly increased. He can now become intangible but not as water but as ice. He can now make water out of thin air but it gives him great difficulty.
Katie has grown stronger aswell. She can now easily grow larges trees as high as 50 feet. Continously grow large plants that secretes poison, sleeping powder or paralysing powder. She can now grow more than a dozen of vines with sharp thorns sometimes coated with poison.
Her prowess with a wooden staff have increased greatly.She's got real talent with her staff. It's really hurts when you get bonked in the head with a giant stick.
She can now also easily command a forest and have it assist her in anything she wants. It like her own territory where she reigns.
Piper has the greatest improvement due to training from all three of us. Her speed, strength and reflexes have increased greatly. She learned to control her charmspeak and can tone it down of increase it greatly. Katie, Percy and I have grown some resistance against her charmspeak but it still a great annoyance specially during battle in which a distraction can cose the battle.
I still need to find her a good weapon other than just always letting her borrow mine. Maybe I can ask my father a weapon for Piper?
-July 24-
It was a peaceful day, we were having a day off from training and since it was summer we had nothing to do. We were at home playing uno, my mom was in the kitchen making a snack, Mr. Gardner was at work, Tristan was shooting a film and Sally was at her store and maybe studying for college.
The peace was broken when an owl broke through the window and landed infront of four armed and ready demigods. Mom came from the kitchen with some burgers and fries. We all looked at the owl in confusion.
It flew to me and pointed/hooted at the letter attached to it. After I took the letter it suddenly flew away shattering another window.
"What a rude bird." Piper muttered.
My mom put the food on a table and came closer to me, looking at my letter.
"What does it say?" She asked me.
Percy, Katie and Piper looked at me with expectation.
I sighed and started to open the letter.
'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Headmaster : Albus Dumbledore
(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chief Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)
Dear Mr. Smith,
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwart School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

I turned to my Mom who is silent just like the rest.
"Hey Mom I know this is selfish but can I go to this Magic School?"
