Bab 2: Track 2 One Lose = One Gain
Murdock is walking to an alleyway to meet Reggie, Murdock stayed on the cautious side to make sure he wasn't followed. Word of the Gem going missing spread like wild fire and now every Cop & Collector in the city looking for the rumored Mystic Gem. He entered the alley and sees Reggie who is a short human rat wearing a large orange overcoat & his tail just visible.
Reggie walks over and says "Murdock! Looking good!! You've been working out?" Reggie wraps his arm around Murdock, he pushes Reggie off and says "Cut the shit Reggie you got any info or is this just another one of those 'Save me Murdock' scenarios? Because if it is I'm gonna break you're arms like last time." Reggie laughs nervously and says "I can't say for sure my usual contacts are being as vague as ever but they gave the gem to some big time enforcer for a field day." Reggie tells Murdock what he knew about the gem and the gang who has it
<Meanwhile back at the Dive-Bar, the bar guys are enjoying their drinks and a round of cards when a bunch of local gang-goons entered their bar there were six of them: five resembled goblins and the sixth looked like an Goliath on steroids>
The Goliath came in laughing and said "A round of booze for me and the booze and keep them coming!" He yells wearing a leather vest, t-shirt & pants with the boots reaching his knees, as the man stood at least 7' tall his skin a dark green and had a black Mohawk, he had large tusks coming from his mouth as he sits down and the barkeep treated them to their beer. After a dozen rounds later he stands in a dizzy state and starts to leave the bar, when some of the other customers stood up and blocked the small group of gang members & their ring leaders path.
They all fought and it eventually left just a few of the bigger (and more muscular) barflies against David. David growled and pulled out an ugly black gem with an ominous purple glow, David held it into the air and suddenly a black cloud engulfed the entire insides of the bar and once it cleared everyone was shriveled up like a raisin: the gang members, the barflies & the Bartender. The only one that survived was David, who had glowing purple veins easily exceeded 8feet in height and had a ton more muscle added to his body.
<Meanwhile Murdock is walking back to the bar> Damn it! That David asshole was last seen around here, so where is he? Maybe I'll check by the bar and ask the guys if they seen him, they should be sober by now. As soon as Murdock got close to the bar David bulldozed through the wall roaring and screams "No one can stop me now!" He laughs and sees Murdock standing there and smiles and says "Guess I'll kill you and add extra muscle to myself!" He laughs, <The scene ends with David lunging at Murdock about to grab him with the hand that has the purple Gem in his hand.>
