The excruciating silence as they were all in position behind the curtains was felt by Victoria. Not a single scene of what she saw back there was forgotten, but strongly remembered. "Those scars didn't came from an accident." She thought to herself. 

Before she could continue on contemplating, her thoughts were overwhelmed by the shouts of those in the crowd. The cheers, the applause and the overbearing pressure of the thousands of people currently watching them live.

The curtains opened and the blinding lights of the spotlights were all focused on them as all the spectators were.

The music started to build up and everyone was silent. Victoria closed her eyes as her life flashed before her eyes and that single image of Theodore never left her mind.
