"Oi, get your hands off of her," Aristele said yanking Lumielle out of Allard's grip. He looked surprised. Today, he wasn't dressed up. His casual attire looked all the more striking, she couldn't help but admit.

Dark tresses and dark eyes with a white opened shirt. He didn't have any of the usual decorum. What was he doing in town?

"What are you doing here, Sir Allard?" Lumielle managed to pipe from beside her brother, who scowled at her conversational attitude.

Aristele leaned down to whisper in her ear, "You know it's your birthday. You can just ignore him," he whispered as she giggled slightly. She covered her mouth as to not show the world her smile, Allard noticed that she did that whenever her younger brother was around. The two were close and almost everyone could see it. They acted as if they had been cut from the same cloth, stitched from the same soul, and loved by the same person: one another.
