Jennifer walked towards abercio with a bright red face. This woman could not accept Abercio's attitude towards Alice who seemed to be tugging at her daughter's feelings with an uncertain status. 

Alice and Jennifer were very happy to hear that the Arion family was coming, especially the arrival of Abercio which Alice had been waiting for a long time. 

Her daughter is also willing to apply as an employee at Arion's company just to be close to the man. Though Alice could have accepted an offer to become a famous model like Jennifer or work at Kyle's company with a fairly high answer. Trying to be tactful and polite, and controlling anger whenever dealing with Charlotte, Abercio, and other members of the Arion family.

After so much done by Alice and Jennifer to get their family's attention and sympathy. Now Abercio can easily say sorry and still can't accept Alice as his future wife, just because of a woman whose origins are not clear.
