I gave myself the privilege of staying an extra half an hour in bed, then I took a bath, changed into another pair of training clothes, this time with more ice blue and gold together with the black, the colors of my house.

{"You're anxious,"} he said as I adjusted Kallisto in my belt and I rolled my eyes.

"No shit? I went overboard. I got mad."

{"Because she mentioned the General?"}

"Not just because of that," I swallowed, "but because of the way she was looking at me, as if she was trying to see past my walls, to grab me out of whatever hole I was throwing myself into to stay out of touch. She said she wanted to save me," bitterness slipped from my tongue. "Save me from what? Myself?"

{"Given your masochist tendencies..."}

My eyes snapped at him sharp, "I am not a masochist."

{"You certainly act like one,"} Chaos scoffed.

"I don't. I don't like pain."
