With great dexterity, Apple then twisted Ivan's hands behind his back and kicked him behind his knees until he fell to the ground in a kneeling position.
After that, Apple let go of Ivan's hands and pushed him, letting the man fall head first on the solid ground.
"Where do you think you are going?" Apple asked dreamily. But, her eyes were fixed on Ivan. "You should know that you won't be able to catch me alone. You are no match for me, Ivan." She looked at the man who was sprawled on the floor, wincing in pain. There was no tenderness in her eyes.
Apple then stepped aside and allowed Ivan to turn around after which the man tried to stand up.
"Have you forgotten who I am?" asked Apple. The two of them had been friends for a long time, so Ivan should have known that Apple could stand up for herself and didn't need anyone's help. He should have remembered who Apple's father was and had been more careful with her. "If you want to set me up, do it right."
