Bab 193: No Coming Back

Alaina looked at Jake who stood there on the porch watch her leave. She kept her eyes on the house that kept shrink the furthest she went away from there until it completely vanished out of her sight.

Seems like she was actually doing this. Oh how she thought the first night, once she would find a way to leave that house, she'd never return. And now here she is, willingly leaving her own home to go back to it… or him.

"Hey, I never got a chance to say this before but, thanks. It is because of you that I am allowed to join college again and even have a phone. You really made it possible. Who knew he'd listen, right? You certainly thought he wouldn't, I told you you're his friend he would. " 

  "Yeah well, for the record he didn't listen to Me per se. But I'll take that ice cream as your thank you." he gave her a grin or more like the ice cream tub in her hand.
