Bab 177: I Am Not Yet Finished

When she did, she looked at it and didn't waste a second to notice she was right about it; it really was a brand new box of a latest iPhone.

She looked up at him from the box in her hand.

"It is your new phone." Ivar revealed what Alaina wanted to hear so badly. Not because it was the most recent iPhone but because it was a phone! Had he given her a friggin Nokia, she'd still be this happy. 

Him giving her this means he is finally letting her have a phone with which she can contact her friends and family!

Although Alaina was ecstatic and relieved and happy and hopeful and all good feelings she felt in her heart, she let none show up on her face. Indifferent is what she remained towards him.

She remained impassive because she didn't know what the catch was. She was only sure that there has to be one because as he said, nothing comes for free in this world.
