Bab 143: Not From The Selfless Heart

Did- did he mean THAT when he offered her to be his? Was he thinking of making her sleep with him in return to saving her friend's life?

"Taking my shirt of," he casually shrugged as he threw it over to the couch beside him.

"Yeah, why?" she asked horrified. 

It was like something dawned over his face as he stalked to her slowly with a smirk growing larger. Alaina back away and he lunges forward to grab her by the waist and pulled her forward to his bare chest.

"Be very careful around here, thea. Or you're gonna get burned." He muttered to Alaina as she stared wide eyes from where she was pushed over his chest. 

She blinks up at him in confusion and Ivar gestures to the fire place behind her before slowly letting her go and turning around. 

Oh, she was backing into the fire place, he saved her by grabbing her. But why did that warning seem like he meant something else, something more by that?
