"She shocked me." Now his eyes were full on accusingly staring at Alaina. He was putting it like she electrocuted him with a wire and that too intentionally.
This whole time Alaina was listening to him about it as if he was talking about someone else entirely. None of that happened with her.
But what happened to her? Something certainly did happen; her labored breath, sagging energy and splitting head ache was the witnesses left behind at the crime scene of it.
