Bab 97: Consumed by Their Dark Cold Embrace

A red Ferrari came to a stop outside the house that was surprisingly all dark. No lights could be seen lit in any of the windows. 

Jake got out of the car and entered thru the front of the house. Thinking it was a peculiar thing, to see darkness in the house when Alaina was home. He was expecting to see the entire house lit like there was a party on going inside it because his niece tends to do that whenever she has to be home alone.

Since he knew Alaina being alone at house was a bad enough thing in itself and then all the lights out were even worse. Immediately his senses kicked in and he barged in hurriedly thru the doors. "Alaina! I'm home!"

There was no reply to his announcement and his mind quickly began to seize in panic. Jake ran up the stairs, taking two steps at a time to get to her room. Hoping maybe she's in the bathroom and could hear him to reply.

"Nina, where are you?" he called out.
