Hopelessness.

That's all I felt right now. My throat was raw from all the screaming, the tears had run out a long time ago. I don't know how long I'd been here. In this dark, cool basement, tied to a chair. I couldn't even move and I'd never felt more helpless in my life.

"Now, where were we? I hope you'll be more cooperative now, assuming you've learned your lesson." My head snapped up and trained on Dominic who had just entered followed by a scowling Bryan.

His grey hair seemed to glow in the dim light, making him seem more terrifying. His cool gaze was fixated on me, making me shiver involuntarily.
