Bab 13: Chapter 13

Splashing the ice cold water on my face, I looked up at the mirror and cringed at my reflection. The bags under my eyes clearly portrayed my lack of sleep these past few days.

When the tears refused to come I felt myself going into withdrawal, simply giving up on life. Demetrius has noticed as well but his concern was the least of my worries.

Picking up my shoulder bag, I left the room and went downstairs.

I didn't utter a word as I made my move towards the door.

"And where do you think you are going?" Demetrius inquired staring at me long and hard.

I vaguely responded. "Out."

"Out where?"

"Just, out." Stunning him into silence, he slowly got up of his chair and approached me.

"You didn't answer my question Sophia, I said, where?" He moved past me to stand in front of the door, his large frame made it almost impossible for me to get past him.

"It's none of your business." I muttered looking down.
