Bab 12: Chapter 12

Rubbing the last of my ointment, I grumpily threw the container back into the cupboard and shut the door.

I hate that bitch.

As soon as Demetrius and I got home I ran angrily to our room and slammed the door shut. I've been there ever since.

I refused to allow him access into the room, still too pissed off to face him.

That woman - oh the things I dreamed of telling Demetrius, but I knew I couldn't, that would be heartless of me to destroy the close bond he has with his mother. Anyway why would he even believe me? I'm just his wife after all. Sarcasm intended.

Yesterday after I refused to allow Demetrius into the room, he felt it wise of him to spend the entire night outside the door waiting for me to open it for him, in the hope that the sympathetic part of me would surface, it never did.

I am not sure whether he is still out there or if he has gone to one of the guest rooms since I can no longer hear his incessant demands for me to open the door.
