I sat in the waiting area thinking over and over on Max's words.

'Look at all the pain you put her through!! She does not deserve it! She was almost killed by that bastard! You failed to protect her! You either reject her or don't bother looking for her ever again.' Great. Now and being lectured by a manwhore. But he was right. I hung my head low as I grip my hair. How can I be considered an alpha when I failed to take care of my soulmate.?

And all because of my ego.

"Alpha Wolfgang. You're here." I looked up and found the elders walking over to me.

"Is something wrong elder Radolf?" I asked as I stood to face them.

"Nothing at all alpha. We are here to welcome the Luna back. We heard that she has awaken. How is she?" Elder Radolf asked.
