Bab 70: Reggie Pities Dad!

Ch-70

"I want momma!" Reggie said in between his sobs. 

Cyrus knew he couldn't fulfill the void of his mother to this kid but he tried so much and after today's confession he was sure she wouldn't be willing to see him. When he saw his son crying, his first thought was to call Esther, but he was afraid that she would think he was using Reggie to get close to her. 

  He took him out and stood in the corridor. "Reggie, see how dark the sky was. And mom may rest now, we shouldn't disturb her. Did you forget mom was injured and was in the hospital for a long time? Hmm? Mom is a patient! We should let her rest! Okay!?" Cyrus tried to reason the child. 

"Okay!" Reggie said. Even though he said he was depressed. He wants to see momma and hug her but he couldn't do it. 

"Dad! Will Reggie not see mommy anymore?" he asked in a choking voice.
