Bab 41: Crushing a Class 4 Direbeast, the Assault of the Beast Tide

On the street filled with vegetation, thirty to forty giant wolves stepped forward as they charged furiously toward a young man.

These giant wolves had a gray coat over their bodies, with a row of bone spurs on their backs and tails like bronze hammers. They were Class 2 Direbeasts called Hammerspike Wolves.

"Awoooo!"

The Hammerspike Wolves howled furiously as they charged in from all directions. They menacingly tried to rip the young man apart, be it with their fangs or claws.

Unfortunately for them, no matter how they attacked, they could not even get close to the young man, being held back at a ten-meter radius around him.

Flowing sand circled the young man and constantly changed into various shapes. Whenever a wolf approached, it would be sent flying by the sand.

The young man strolled in the courtyard and walked all the way from one end of the street to the other, leaving pools of blood, as well as Hammerspike Wolf corpses, in his wake.
